VGDJ: Episode #043 Video Games Live!

This week on the show all about the music and community of OverClocked ReMix:
Our longest episode yet, this special edition of VGDJ brings you a behind-the-scenes look at Video Games Live! Besides a sizable amount of ReMix Reviews, aided by the Pretz himself, we managed to snag interviews with six (!) of the composers and performers involved in the concert, including mister Tommy Tallarico, of course. Even without our standard reports, there's more video game music material here than you can shake a stick at, so ya'll would be nuts not to check this one out! ENJOY!

11 Gain:
Glad its up, but it's to bad I am to tired to listen. I'll be sure to get up early and listen to it then. :)
No rush. We're actually gonna reupload the show around noon tomorrow because we noticed a few volume issues that we didn't have time to fix before.
A-MA-ZING.
Seriously, I loved everything about this show (except that there was too little Rama Sauce).
Jealous :((((
Yo OCREMIX!!!,

Hello Pixie & Zircon,
You almost spelled my name right :). I hopefully you guys are having a better 6/6/06 then i'm having.
*glee!*
Great show. I wasn't able to listen to VGDJ for like the last month so I'm playing catch up.
How much Pixie and Zircon can I take in one week?
Awesome show! This is the first time I listened to one of your podcasts, but it won't be my last. I'll be downloading this onto my Dell DJ every week. Keep making these 87-minute episodes and the show might last through both the morning AND the evening commute :)
It must be a MASSIVE amount of work to edit all this together - especially how you added the music in the background and even listed what happens at each part of the show.
The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I actually was in Center City on Saturday, blocks from where this was all going on, and I had no clue.
Oh well. "Play! A Video Game Symphony" is coming to the Mann Center on July 27 anyway, so I'll be able to go to at least one of these. Are you from Philly? Will we be hearing you reporting from that concert as well in a few weeks?

Games are for Children
Great to hear from you, Steve! Zircon goes to Drexel University in Philly, but neither of us actually live there. I'm from Boston/Baltimore, and he's from New York. I'd certainly like to attend a PLAY concert. In the meantime, we'll be doing other specials on the show. This week will be an interview with Shael Riley of the Street Fighter II remix project!
