VGDJ: Episode #047

This week on the show all about the music and community of OverClocked ReMix:

Ahhh, July 4th draws near... This episode might not be "special," but surely the temptation of remix reviews, reports, general silliness, and an Australian meetup call-in is too powerful to pass up. Not to mention we've got the continuation of our trivia contest, along with the announcement of last week's winner (pics too!). Prepare for at least a few pronunciation-related jokes on this one. Now, we recorded all this for the peoples. All you have to do is giddy-up, grab the show, and vote fer us. Yeehaw!

Hey zircon and pixie! Long time listener lurker here! I've never posted on the forums (only registered a while ago) so I'm a pretty mysterious guy (as my name implies). BUT ANYWAY, I would sure like to hear that tutorial episode. I have only a little music knowledge, as I play bass in my youth group, so I can play/make a song thing in my head, and have an idea, but would not know how to go about making a nice remix for it. So I would sure like a nice tutorial for my dumbness! ;)

Yes a tutorial or two would be awesome, especially if they REALLY started with the basics because I have no clue where to even begin.

Alright! Another great show! And patriotic, to boot!
Which remix is it that Pixe Tricks did vocals for? I didn't find it skimming OCR. :(

Hint: there is a search menu on the left side of the page for remixers, among other things. Also, you can simply type into your browser: "http://www.ocremix.org/remixer/namehere/" Pixietricks has four mixes on OCR so far.
