VGDJ: Episode #053 Day of the Videocast

This week on the show all about the music and community of OverClocked ReMix:
VGDJ in video?! What has the world come to? Contrary to popular belief, we're not just a bunch of disembodied voices floating around on the internet... but we wanted to prove it with our first ever videocast. This is your chance to actually SEE zircon, pixietricks, djpretzel, Liontamer, GeoffreyTaucer, and friends in living color. Check out all our crazy footage from last week's OCR Otakon panel, and not without a few added bonuses, of course! The link in the "show" button above is the normal resolution (130 MB), but there are two other versions available for download, for those of you residing on the extremes of web speed:
Low res (70 MB)
High res (400 MB)
Note: If you wanna view this cast on your iPod, you'll have to convert it to mp4. We gave up on that long ago, for various reasons. But the MOV's should play in iTunes, at least. Have fun, kiddies!

Or those with a lot of patience...
And/or laziness. ^_~

Help, what can I use that will work? (currently using quicktime 5).
Looks good. Nice to see you guys in action.
Pixietricks, your so cute when you act goofy.
Well anonymous, you should definitely have atleast Quicktime 6, if you're even gonna use Quicktime as everything that involves it uses that version (afaik). You can also check out Quicktime Alternative...
extreme webz to the max!
Great stuff, p&z. It's cool that VGDJ is spreading the word so far and wide. Onwards and upwards!
"Help, what can I use that will work? (currently using quicktime 5)."
Um, Quicktime 7?
Yes, you will probably have to upgrade to Quicktime 7 to watch these movies! RealPlayer and iTunes should work as well.
Dude! That was flippin' AWESOME, man! I've been a long term lurker and have never been able to go to any of the meet-ups so this was a really cool chance to see what some of the OCR "personalities"/"celebrities" really look like. However, I would prefer if the general podcast stayed in audio only mode as I listen to the show at work and don't have a video iPod anywho. Awrsesome stuff! Keep it up!
Wow...that was awesome. Seeing this thing live is way beyond cool. I really wanted to see the dude who gave David the present.
Excellent work.
Hey guys, great work and keep it up, VGDJ is still as fresh as ever and always will be!! ^^
/me wipes tear from eye
Thanks, guys!
Hey guys, I really liked the videocast. It's too bad OCRemix is down right now and was yesterday too, because it would probably be getting a lot of traffic due to your episode...
But yeah, great job. I can't wait for more videocasts (even though I know it's a lot of effort)! Oh, and I finally voted...bout time...forgotten till now.

DEAR GOD YOU'RE ALL IMMENSELY UGLY THAT WAS HARD TO WATCH
jk ;D
D:
I loved the videocast, already knew what you all looked like from pictures but to see the crew in motion is a whole different thing. ^^
o.O Are you planning to replace Zircon with a teddy in the future?
---
lol, I thought it was a real pretzel that could be eaten but I guess not.
Hi, "-zircon + pixietricks" (I dont know exacly who of you help me by email with the playing this videopost). Yes, I finally got play the video. I dont know whats happening in another computer, but here works fine on the QuickTime 7).
Well, its good 'to see' (not only to hear) the person who work on the OCR things, things like VGDJ or the talking Otakon 2006, for example.
The sound and the cenario on the begin of video, with Pixie bravelly alone, could be better, but Pix: your have a grace foot and worth rss Besides, you are very natural in front of camera, but I feel missing someone to talk to you, really, making more dinamic presentation.
The tentacles on Otakon are hilarious and the live performances was a good ideia :) You should be repeat it, with more production.
Hope this video be the first of many other.
ps. Sorry a bad english!
