VGDJ: Episode #068 The Next Generation

This week on the show all about the music and community of OverClocked ReMix:

Throw your hands in the air! OCR's official podcast is BACK after over two and a half years, and ready to rock. What has changed? Well, zircon and pixietricks are still here - but married (just a little development since you heard them last)... and we've got a new, third cohost: Brushfire! Say hiiiii.

Tune in this week for a whopping six ReMix reviews; Game Flames with Brushfire; community happenings; "OCRtist Spotlight" on judge, remixer, and FFIV project director OA; squeaky chairs... and a bunch of extra goodies you'll just have to listen for to discover. :)

Ahhh... It's good to be back.

Hey guys, Swordbreaker here.

Glad to see you people back. I really enjoyed this debut episode and you people are hilarious as always. VGDJ was the reason why I'm participating in our very own videogame podcast...running strong for a few years now.

Brushfire is a sweet addition to the mix and I'm happy that he has been able to make all this possible. I liked that "Game Flames" monologue. Pretty insightful stuff since Red Fraction has been getting extra praise in reviews.

Too bad Dwelling of Duels' latest results weren't posted by the time you guys wrapped this up. I'm expecting coverage of this next week 'cause this month has some amazing tunes. I actually reviewed and voted on the Shizz for once.

Go Fabul's Men Choir! More exposure for us is good.

Your stingers never get old, btw. Looking forward to next week's show.

Wow! You guys are back!

I remember listening to VGDJ as a sophomore in college and I really enjoyed every episode. Something about your enthusiasm for game remix music really made an impact on me, especially back then.

I'm now an indie software developer, and I believe part of my decision to become one is related to people like you who contribute to a community for the sheer fun of it. You guys are an inspiration.

I'm downloading the episode right now, but I'm sure it's going to bring back some pleasant memories. Thanks a lot!

Holy cow! I was quite saddened when you decided to stop for the time back in '07, but I'm happy to see that you two have returned!
My belated congratulations to you on your marriage and, of course, I look forward to hearing your next generation of podcasting work!
