With that came numerous forum changes, such as the addition of a Competitions forum, three new ReMixing-related subforums, some name changes, the deletion of UnModerated (!) and the addition of Off-Topic. The new forums are sleeker and faster than they were before, so now's a great time to sign up and start posting if you haven't already!
[06:42] Ah-ha! Forum shenanigans are not all we have for you on our last show. MAGFest 5 rocked hard and we were there. The theme could perhaps be best defined as "community healing" with djpretzel and virt of VGMix attending each other's panels and sitting at the bar together. Jiggles McPuff hooked us up with the audio from the OCReMix panel we did (with djpretzel and Liontamer), so you're going to hear that next! Why, pit them against each other in a battle of nostalgia to see who can recognize the most VG tunes. The competitors were virt (VGMix), Rama (ThaSauce/OCR), JoeCam (OneUp Studios), and Paragon (The Shizz) and while it was close, virt managed to edge 'em out. Too bad no one got that Shining Force track except SnappleMan.
[73:05] And that about wraps it up. We wish you all could have been there too; even though there were dozens of people from OCR, that's still not enough! Let's shoot for more next year.
[73:34] Russian ReMix Roulette: Well, we didn't have any reports or ReViews this show, but it just wouldn't be VGDJ without the ol' RRR. We kept it relatively sane and actually ended up with a rather recent song anyway, from our good friend Dhsu: 'Koopa vs. Kefka' from Super Mario World.
