VGDJ: Shownotes #010

[01:02] SPECIAL SHOW! Get ready to listen in on the OCR TORONTO meetup!
[02:16] OMG we're recording on the road for the first time and we have no clue what we're doing! hehe Lightbunny, Aurora and Rayza arrive early at the Brownstone Bistro on Yonge street, only to find Felt Hatmen and Micuu arriving right after us
[03:02] Mahaboo and Gaea with TheDewk have arrived and Arcana and Kureejii Lea arrive ... 15 minutes early... what the SCHMOO is going on this year? hehe Arcana was the last to arrive in the winter version of the meetup
[04:36] Rayza criticises Aurora's nametag replacements (there seriously wasn't any other kind of sticker)
[04:58] Most of the participants have arrived and Rayza goes around the table for introductions (some more discernible than others). Sunflower (Rayza's beautiful girlfriend) insults our show. Flat out. Its ovar, Biatch! hehe (Aurora hearts you)
[06:33] We're done at the Brownstone... we conclude that its not worth continuing in the OCR meetup tradition... keep listening for the best idea for our next meetup place EVER from Kureejii Lea
[08:13] We finally introduce the show! hehehe we're retards. We're weary of our recording equipment's stamina and Cassanova is MIA. Nakid pix of Aurora.... I dUN TINK SO.
[09:38] Aurora talks with Lightbunny, the foreigner.
[10:18] Aurora chats with Nick, Arcana's budday, learnin' 'im on the OCR and VGDJstuffs
[11:18] The Traditions Continue! endblink left early so Mahaboo and Gaea pass the torch and pose in front of What-A-Bagel, a tribute to a prominant forum goer and were Kureejii Lea suggests we begin our meetup next time round (see next note).
[11:46] Aurora and Kureejii Lea talk NEW MEETUP PLACE and the upcoming rival showdowns developed from the last meetup that she must endure at the arcade.
[12:49] Arcana won't get his rematch with Cassanova... maybe next time?
[13:19] Smasha shares his knowledge of the beauty of podcasting to the whole wide world. A nice old man plays "The Old Ball Game" on electric piano as we walk by. We lost some members but we meet up with them later DON"T WORRY OKAY.
[15:27] Skrypnyk shares his love of the community with Aurora and maybe gains another VGDJ listener!
[18:49] ...in the arcade...
[19:30] After about 2 hours in the arcade, we decide to walk to the harbour front and catch a ferry to Centre Island... Rayza enlightens us about his favorite toys.
[20:38] On the ferry, comments on how city skylines can be beautiful, student fares not applying to all students, and TheDewk commentates. (Rayza completely thought there was water near Vegas... not me :D)
[23:57] We arrive at Centreville's Far Enough Farm! Mad cow, favorite animals, interview with a brown cow, and our eventual move to find a shady tree and chill for a bit
[28:08] Our positions chilling under a shady tree has been realised... the tape is rollin and we're lookin for something to say/do/sing/whateva.
[30:12] IMPROMPTU BANANA PHONE!!! Brought to you by Smasha and TheDewk and others.... Pediphiliac?
[31:38] Rayza starts the Ken Song ... sorta...and the contraversial YOUR vs YOU'RE mistake regarding the lyrics of the song.
[32:51] Felt Hatmen decides he will perform his rendition of Xenogears: Broken Shards ... which others start to recognize! (Hatmen earns one clap for effort until we just can't take it anymore :D)
[34:07] ELECTRO BEAT BEAT BEAT ... Rayza prompts us to do...THE... RayzaMix. And then THE Kureejii Lea mix... and so on :D
[36:07] TheDewk assumes control! You know its a little bit dangerous! What's for dinner?
[37:42] Hottest Judge, OCR visiting frequency, VISIT OverClocked ReMix starting August 1st, Grass-noise making contest
[39:08] UH OHHHHHHHHH Arcana's in trouble! Kureejii Lea lays the smackdown about progress with the Summoning of Spirits: Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Symphonia Site Project... (Although Aurora seems to get this project confused with the Chrono Symphonic project for some reason... TOO MANY THINGS TO KEEP TRACK OF, FOLKS! hehe Sorry, Lea!
[40:22] Sound-seeing ain't like bein' in front of yer computer... Peter Jackson's career pride and joy. Make up our own OCR Toronto song? Hockey Night in CANANNNANANANA! Mahaboo with her reaction to the NHL starting up again this year! Authentic food sources... Beer: Canada > USA
[43:07] pssssssssssssssssssssssst no one knows we've started recording again! The Dewk, while being billeted under the roof of Mahaboo and Gaea, demonstrated a rare characteristic: We catch the Night Terrors conversation.
[45:10] OMG VG CONTENT! Lightbunny is dah man... OMG NIGHT TERRORS...hit the old dusty trail...
[47:56] That's all Folks! We didn't get the whole day but we fill ya in on what we did... Katsu Sushi at Pape and Danforth, tried to find a karaoke place (without the aid of the want-to karaokers... losers!:D) and then finally decided on meeting up at The Fox and Firkin at Yonge and Eglinton to play National Trivia Network (NTN). Ideas for next meetup and a rundown of what the next show will be all about: REMIX REVIEWS! we need to play catchup... that be all, everyone. Thanks to everyone who came! Make sure your December's are free everyone: The Second Annual OCR TORONTO WInter Meetup is in the works!!

OOPS)
